The responsibility for organising public employment services will be transferred from the State Employment and Economic Development Offices to the employment areas formed by municipalities on 1 January 2025. Suupohja employment area; Isojoki, Karijoki, Kauhajoki, Kristiinankaupunki, Kurikka and Teuva. The current TE Offices and the municipal employment experiments will cease to operate on 31.12.2024. The staff employed in the TE Offices and the municipal employment experiments will be transferred to the new employment areas.
